Convene operates luxury coworking spaces inside Class-A office buildings, giving members access to premium workspaces, meeting rooms, and amenities across multiple cities with a single membership card.

In 2019, Convene set out to modernize how memberships were issued and managed. Members needed to enroll online, receive a personalized credential, and immediately access Convene locations nationwide.

Because Convene leased space inside landlord-owned buildings, every membership card also needed to work with a variety of existing building access systems. The organization required a cloud-based credential issuance platform capable of tying together Salesforce, Fargo Connect, LenelS2, and multi-technology HID credentials into one seamless experience.

“We built a POC instance in a sandbox, cleaned everything up, certified it, and then moved it into production. The product does exactly what it was supposed to do. It's operated perfectly since day one. Everything’s gone great. Everything’s gone smooth.”

Automated Solution

Credential Issuance

Centrally-managed, scalable, cloud-based secure credential issuance by Fargo® Connect.
The Solution

Cloud-Based Automated Membership Credentialing
— Built Around the Member Experience

Rather than simply deploying printers, K&A helped architect the complete credential issuance workflow.

Working alongside HID’s Fargo Connect engineering team, K&A configured and validated the integration between Salesforce, Fargo Connect, LenelS2, and HID Triple Technology cards inside a sandbox environment before deployment. Every printer, console, credential, and cloud connection was configured and tested — then hardware and supplies were shipped ready for installation. With K&A’s remote support, each Convene location was able to begin issuing member credentials with minimal onsite effort.

The result was a seamless, fully integrated workflow — from membership enrollment to badge printing to access control — creating an excellent “street to seat” experience for Convene members.

Today, K&A continues to provide technical support, remote administration through the Fargo Connect cloud portal, printer service, replacement hardware, and consumable inventory management as Convene’s business evolves.
